Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance

Nigeria Implementation Science Alliance (NISA) is a collaborative relation between the communities of Implementing Partners in Nigeria. It is committed to identifying, understanding, measuring and sharing implementation science work done in Nigeria.

NISA was formed in 2014 to tackle major challenges in implementing evidence-based interventions which include poor dissemination and adoption by the communities where they are needed. These challenges are heightened when research findings from trials conducted in local communities are not appropriately shared with community leaders, local policy makers, and other stakeholders. This practice is common in resource-limited settings where policymakers are often unaware of the effective local evidence-based interventions generated from their community. HealthySunrise has been the organizing agency for NISA
